Dr John Li is a leading Specialist General Surgeon and highly experienced Cosmetic Laser Doctor based in Brisbane. He specialises in hernia surgery, gallbladder surgery, haemorrhoids surgery, gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and skin cancer removal. He also has advanced training in the cosmetic injectable and laser treatments.
Dr Li studied medicine and surgery at the Griffith University graduating with a double degree in Bachelor of Medical Science and Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery (MBBS). He also is a Senior Lecturer of Surgery at the School of Medicine, Griffith University, Australia.
Dr Li has experiences in all the core general surgical subspecialties including Acute Surgery, Breast and Endocrine Surgery, Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary Surgery, Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery, Colorectal Surgery, Trauma and Paediatric Surgery.
This broad range of skills involves all aspects of open and laparoscopic general surgery as well as endoscopy including removal food bolus, endoscopic haemorrhage control, gastroscopic dilatations, insertion of naso-jejunal tubes.
